This standard replaces GB 16397-1996 "KBD preventive effect on the determination."
This standard and GB 16397-1996 comparison, the main changes are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the Kashin-Beck disease prevention and control measures to effect the determination index.
This standard applies to all kinds of prevention and control measures the effect of KBD endemic area determined.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1

A.1 observation ward selection
