Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB 14591-2006 "Water treatment agent polymerization of ferric sulfate", compared with GB 14591-2006 main technical changes
as follows.
--- the nature of the standard from mandatory to recommend;
- the classification of products, the class I and II products were modified to first-class goods and qualified products (see 4.2,.2006 version of 4.2);
--- modified the solid iron content of solid iron sulfate products from "≥ 19.0" to "≥19.5" (see 4.2,.2006 version 4.2);
- modified the salt base of qualified products (see 4.2, 4.2 of.2006);
- modified the pH of the product (see 4.2, 4.2 of.2006);
- modified insoluble indicators (see 4.2, 4.2 of.2006);
--- increase the qualified products such as arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium and other indicators, and modified first-class arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium and other indicators (see 4.2,
2006 version 4.2);
Increased atomic fluorescence spectrometry for arsenic (see 5.8.1), deletion of arsenic spot method (see 5.7.2 of.2006);
The determination of lead and cadmium content was modified by flame atomic absorption spectrometry after extraction (see 5.8, 5.9,.2006, 5.8).
- increased atomic fluorescence spectrometry (see 5.10.1), the spectrophotometric method was removed (see 5.10.1,.2006);
--- modified the determination of chromium (see 5.11,.2006 version 5.11);
- Added atomic absorption spectrometry to measure zinc and nickel (see 5.12, 5.13).

1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of calcium sulfate products for water treatment agents.
Full requirement
This standard applies to water treatment agent polymerization of ferric sulfate. The product is mainly used for drinking water, industrial water, sewage and sludge treatment.
One of the first class can be used for drinking water treatment, the raw materials should be ferrous sulfate (Ⅰ class products) and industrial sulfuric acid.
