Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document supersedes the standards GB 12791-2006 "Point-type Ultraviolet Flame Detectors" and GB 15631-2008 "Special Fire Detectors". Regarding the infrared flame detector section, compared with GB 12791-2006, the main technical changes, apart from structural adjustments and editorial modifications, are as follows. a) Added the terms "infrared flame detector", "ultraviolet flame detector", "corresponding point D value", "sensitivity", and "sensitivity adjustment" and their corresponding terms. Definition (see Chapter 3); b) A classification system based on detection principles has been added, including infrared, ultraviolet, and infrared-ultraviolet composite detection methods (see 4.1); c) Added environmental adaptability classification methods for types A and B (see 4.2); d) Added sensitivity classification methods of Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 1S (see 4.3); e) Added requirements for connection failure monitoring (see 5.9); f) The direction dependency requirement has been changed (see 5.12, 4.5 of GB 12791-2006 and 5.2.4 of GB 15631-2008); g) The fire sensitivity performance requirements have been changed (see 5.13, 4.25 of GB 12791-2006 and GB 15631-2008). 5.20.2.1); h) Added requirements for monitoring optical surface contamination (see 5.14); i) Increased requirements for resistance to light interference (see 5.15); j) Increased requirements for resistance to sunlight interference (see 5.16); k) Increased requirements for thermal interference resistance (see 5.17); l) The requirements for alternating damp heat (operation) test and salt spray test have been added to the climate environmental tolerance performance requirements (see 5.18); m) The low-temperature (operational) test requirements in the climate environmental tolerance performance requirements have been changed (see 5.18, 4.10 of GB 12791-2006 and...). GB 15631-2008, section 5.7); n) Increased requirements for enclosure protection performance (see 5.22); o) The requirements for power-on test, ambient light interference test, constant humidity and heat (operation) test, insulation resistance test, and withstand voltage test have been removed (see...). GB 12791-2006, sections 4.6, 4.8, 4.11, 4.14 and 4.15; GB 15631-2008, sections 5.2.5, 5.2.7 and 5.8). p) The requirements for insulation resistance test and withstand voltage test have been removed (see 4.14 and 4.15 of GB 12791-2006). This document was proposed and is under the jurisdiction of the State Fire and Rescue Administration. The release history of this document and the document it replaces is as follows. ---First published as GB 12791-1991 in.1991, and revised for the first time in.2006; ---This is the second revision, incorporating the point-type infrared flame detector section of GB 15631-2008 (first published in.1995). (GB 15631-1995, first revised in.2008). Point-type flame detector

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 A detector that generates alarm decision-related responses only to infrared light radiation with wavelengths greater than 850nm. 3.2 A detector that generates alarm decision-related responses only to ultraviolet radiation with wavelengths less than 300nm. 3.3 responsepoint D The maximum distance at which the detector can emit a reliable fire alarm signal within 30 seconds when exposed to specific flame radiation. Note. Dmax, Dmin, and D represent the maximum, minimum, and mean values of a set of response points D, respectively. The response point D values are determined according to the method in 6.1.5. 3.4 sensitivity A measure of a detector's ability to detect fires.
