1 Scope
This part of GA/T 527 specifies the classification, setting conditions, implementation flow, signal control strategy and plan for single-point signal control methods.
Technical requirements such as formulation and control of time division, control mode selection, phase phase sequence setting, signal timing parameters and control scheme evaluation.
This section applies to the design and application of single-point signal control methods.

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 31418 and GA/T 527.1-2015 apply to this document.

Single-point signal control methods include. single-point timing control, single-point sensing control, and single-point adaptive control.
5 Setting conditions
5.1 Road and traffic flow conditions
To set up single-point signal control, the following conditions must be met.
a) The intersection is relatively independent in the road network, and the distance from the adjacent intersection is relatively large;
b) The intersection of traffic intersections with adjacent intersections is not obvious.
5.2 Signal control conditions
To implement single-point signal control, the following conditions must be met.
a) The road traffic signal controller should support multi-time single-point signal control mode, which can be independently operated and controlled.
Phase sequence
b) When using single point induction control and single point adaptive control mode, traffic flow detector should be set;
c) When setting the single inlet release phase or the overlapping phase, a non-motorized signal light should be set.
