3 terms and definitions, abbreviations
3.1 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 12628-2008 apply to this document.
3.1.1
IOPS performance input/outputoperationspersecond
Measure the performance of hard disk random access, expressed in terms of the number of read and write (I/O) operations per second.
3.1.2
Implicit channel covertchannel
A channel for transmitting data in a manner that violates security policies.
3.1.3
Energy efficiency
The average energy consumed by the hard disk to read and write per gigabyte of data.
Note. The unit is joules per gigabyte (J/GB).
3.1.4
Read and write response time read/writeresponsetime
The response time of the hard disk to read and write commands.
3.1.5
Power cycle reliability
When the hard disk is powered off, the data that has been written cannot be lost or errored. After the power is turned on again, all functions of the hard disk are normal.
