1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for fabric flatness.
This standard is mainly applicable to woven fabrics and knitted fabrics. It does not apply to fabrics after washing treatment and fabrics with special designs, such as
Flowers, folds, fluffy fabrics, etc.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Smoothness
The degree of unevenness of the fabric surface is characterized by the coefficient of variation of the measured thickness under certain test conditions.
3.2
Zero positionofdisplacement
The test head is at the starting position before the test, and returns to this position after each test.
3.3
Zero positionofbenchmark
The position of the test head when the plane of the test head is in contact with the plane of the test bench, and the load display value reaches the set value of the auto-stop pressure.
4 Principle
Under certain pressure conditions, measure the thickness value of each point of the sample spread on the test bench, and calculate the coefficient of variation of the sample thickness value.
