This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces GB/T 9058-2004 "Odd-number groove micrometer": Compared with GB/T 9058-2004, except for structural adjustments and editorial
In addition to the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) Deleted the odd-numbered groove micrometer with a graduation value of 0:005 mm in the applicable range (see Chapter 1 of the:2004 edition);
b) Added coating appearance requirements (see 5:1:2);
c) The requirements for the change in measuring force of the force measuring device have been changed (see 5:6, 5:5 of the:2004 edition);
d) The requirements for locking devices have been deleted (see 5:6 of the:2004 edition);
e) The requirements for digital display devices have been deleted (see 5:9 of the:2004 edition);
f) Added the requirements for scale (see 5:9);
g) The dimensional deviation and cylindricity tolerance have been changed (see Table 3, Table 3 of the:2004 edition);
h) Added the requirements for ambient temperature under the test conditions (see 6:1);
i) Added the test method for measuring surface hardness (see 6:5);
j) The inspection method for the maximum allowable error has been changed (see 6:6, 6:4 of the:2004 edition);
k) Added the inspection method for calibration cylinder size deviation and cylindricity tolerance (see 6:7):
