1 Scope

This standard specifies the principle, device, test method, test report of the dynamic folding test of leather belt products. This standard is applicable to belt products such as waist belts, shoulder straps, soft handles for luggage.

2 Principle

According to the bending force of the specimen, select the appropriate initial distance and weight, to perform reciprocating folding motion at a certain frequency, to test the quality of waist belts, shoulder straps, soft handles and other belt products.

3 Device

3.1 Dynamic folding test machine It shall include the components specified in 3.1.1 ~ 3.1.5; the schematic diagram is shown in Figure 1. 3.1.1 The specimen fixing device consists of a pair of specimen clamps, one of which can move in the left and right direction, whilst the other specimen clamp can move in the front and back direction. The initial positions of the two specimen clamps are in a straight line. 3.1.2 The weight loading device is connected to the specimen clamp that moves left and right; it can load the weight as needed. When the weight is not loaded, the specimen clamp is not subjected to force and can move freely left and right. 3.1.3 The driving device is connected to the specimen clamp that moves forward and backward; drives the specimen clamp to make a reciprocating motion with a stroke of (55 ± 3) mm and adjustable frequency, so that the two specimen clamps make a reciprocating folding motion perpendicular to the specimen installation direction. 3.1.4 The counter records the number of folding times. 3.1.5 The control device has an automatic shutdown function when the specimen is abnormal during the test; automatically records the number of folding times at this time. ......
