Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard was proposed by the Aircraft Airworthiness Certification Department of
the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
This standard was approved for establishment by the Aircraft Airworthiness
Certification Department of the CAAC.
This standard shall be under the jurisdiction of the China Academy of Civil Aviation
Science and Technology.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the composition, technical requirements, and quality inspection
requirements for aero and aero-derived gas turbine engine lubricants (5 centistokes
grade) (hereinafter referred to as turbine engine lubricant).
This standard applies to the production of aero and aero-derived gas turbine engine
lubricants.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Standard performance capability class
SPC
A type of lubricant that meets general usage requirements.
3.2
High performance capability class
HPC
A type of lubricant that meets engine operating conditions and/or service life
requirements, which is suitable for higher temperatures.
3.3
Batch
A group of base oils, additives, or finished lubricants that have undergone final
analysis and testing.
4 Composition
Turbine engine lubricants shall use polyol ester compounds as base oil and shall not
contain barium or titanium-based organic compounds. If tricresyl phosphate (TCP)
additives are used, the mass fraction of ortho-isomers shall not exceed 0.2%.
All chemical components of turbine engine lubricants shall comply with the laws,
regulations, environmental and toxicological requirements of the country of production
and sale; it shall have a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) or other relevant
documentation to cover these requirements.
5 Technical requirements
The physical, chemical, stability, deposition, tribological properties of the turbine
engine lubricant shall meet the requirements of Tables 1 ~ 5, respectively. The items
listed in Appendix A can be included in the report.
