This Standard serves as a replacement of JB/T 10247-2001 Open-Pit Crawler Type Downhole Drills. In comparison with JB/T 10247-2001, the main technical changes are as follows. --- The Table of Contents is added; --- The Normative References are updated; --- The abolished JB 8684 is deleted (see Chapter 2 of Version 2004); --- GB 17957-2005 is added to serve as a replacement of JB 8684; --- The drilling diameter (mm) in Table 1 is adjusted from “≥80” to “80~203”, the drilling depth (m) is adjusted from “≥20” to “≥25”, and the idling speed of the slewing device (r/min) is adjusted from “≥50” to “0~150”; --- The schematic diagram of outline structure and the schematic diagram of the projection measurement method of the drill boom swing angle in 5.5 are added; --- Chapter 6 is modified and supplemented. This Standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee 173 on Rock Drilling Machines and Pneumatic Tools of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 173). Open-Pit Crawler Type Downhole Drills 1 Scope This Standard specifies the basic parameters, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of open-pit crawler type downhole drills. This Standard is applicable to the open-pit crawler type downhole drills powered by compressed air (hereinafter referred to as products). 2 Normative References The following documents are indispensable to the application of this document. In terms of references with a specified date, only versions with a specified date are applicable to this document. In terms of references without a specified date, the latest version (including all the modifications) is applicable to this document. GB/T 5621 Test Methods of Performance for Rock Drilling Machines and Pneumatic Tools GB/T 5898-2004 Measurement of Noise Emitted by Rock Drilling Machines and Pneumatic Tools - Engineering Method GB/T 13306-2011 Plates GB/T 13344-2010 Downhole Drill Hammers and Bits GB/T 13916-2013 Unnoted Tolerance of Shape and Position for Stamping Parts GB 17957-2005 Rock Drilling Machines and Pneumatic Tools - Safety Requirements JB/T 1590 Type Organization Method for Rock Drilling Machines and Pneumatic Tools JB/T 3576 General Specifications for Rust-Preventing of Rock-Drilling Machines and Pneumatic Tools JB/T 4385.1-1999 General Specifications for Open Die Forgings on Hammer JB/T 5000.4-2007 Heavy Mechanical General Techniques and Standards - Part 4.Iron Casting JB/T 5000.6-2007 Heavy Mechanical General Techniques and Standards - Part 6.Steel Castings JB/T 7161 General Specification of Heat-Treatment for Rock Drilling Machines and Pneumatic Tools 4.5 The quality of steel die forgings shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 7163. 4.6 The quality of free die forgings shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 4385.1-1999. 4.7 The unnoted tolerance dimensions of stamping parts shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 13916-2013. 4.8 The quality of machined parts shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 7164. 4.9 The quality of heat-treated parts shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 7161. 4.10 The quality of welding parts shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 7167. 4.11 The assembly quality of the product shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 7165. 4.12 There shall be no leakage at the connection parts or thread seals of hydraulic and pneumatic parts. 4.13 Each hose shall be connected according to the system diagram, and no twisting or folding shall occur. 4.14 The tightening torque of fasteners shall comply with the provisions of QC/T 518-2013. 4.15 The tightening torque of threads shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 7165. 4.16 The painting quality of the product shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 9857. 4.17 The rust-preventing quality of the product shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 3576. 4.18 The matching downhole drill hammer and bit shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 13344-2010. 4.19 The safety requirements of the product shall comply with the provisions of GB 17957-2005. 4.20 The quality of iron castings shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 5000.4-2007. 5 Inspection Methods 5.1 Inspection Conditions 5.1.1 The instruments and meters used for measurement shall have verification certificates within the validity period and meet the measurement accuracy requirements. Check and calibrate the meters before the test. 5.1.2 The ambient temperature is 0°C~40°C, the relative humidity is below 80%, and the altitude does not exceed 1,500 m. 5.1.3 The travel test shall be carried out on a flat, dry, and well-adhesive dirt road, with a length of not less than 20 m. 5.1.4 The climbing test shall be carried out on a flat, solid earth ramp or gravel clay ramp, with a slope of not less than the specified value and a length of not less than 10 m. 5.2 Idle Running Test Connect the air source and check that all connections shall meet the requirements and there shall be no wrong installation or missing installation; start the travel motor to carry out forward, backward, and turning tests, check that the travel shall be normal and the travel direction shall be consistent with the operating direction; start the hydraulic pump and run it idle for about 10 min, and check whether the operating direction of the pressure valve handle and the multi-way valve handle is consistent with their movement direction; the pressure reducing valve shall function properly and be able to adjust the pressure to the measurement range specified in Table 1. 5.3 Chassis Function Test 5.3.1 The product is running normally, and its travel speed is measured with a tape measure and a stopwatch. 5.3.2 Fix one end of a tensioner with an effective range, connect the other end to the product with a wire rope, and measure its traction while the product is running. 5.3.3 When the propeller is in a vertical state, the chassis of the product pitches with the aid of the leveling cylinder, and the crawler leveling angle is detected with an inclinometer or a weight and an angle gauge. 5.4 Climbing and Braking Test The product travels on the specified slope for a distance of not less than 5 m; while measuring the gradability, the product moves downward and brakes suddenly, and the sliding distance is measured with a tape measure. Repeat three times and take the average value. 5.5 Drill Boom Function Test The drill boom shall be stable when performing various actions and can be braked at any position. At the same time, it shall meet the following requirements. --- The drill boom pitches with the aid of the arm cylinder, and its pitch angle is detected with an inclinometer or a weight and an angle gauge; --- Adjust the drill boom to an appropriate angle, put the propeller in a horizontal position, hang a weight on the front and rear ends of the drill boom, and enable the drill boom to swing with the aid of the swing cylinder. Draw a fan-shaped surface diagram of the left and right extreme positions of the drill boom on the ground, as 5.6.4 When the propeller is in a vertical state, the propeller is swung left and right with the aid of the propeller swing cylinder. Use an inclinometer or a weight and an angle gauge to detect its swing angle, and move the positioning pin to detect the swing angle of the propeller when the swing cylinder is fixed in two holes. 5.6.5 The propeller pitches with the aid of the pitch cylinder, and its pitch angle is detected with an inclinometer or a weight and an angle gauge. 5.7 Sealing Performance Test During the whole process of testing, observe at any time that there shall be no leakage at the joint surfaces and pipe joints of the gas and liquid systems; after 15 minutes of static pressure maintenance, there shall be no obvious leakage at the joints; move the center of gravity of the propeller to the front end, extend the arm cylinder to the maximum, and the retraction of the piston rod in 4 h shall be less than 3 mm. 5.8 Thread Tightening Torque Test Use a torque wrench to spot check the tightening torque of fasteners and pipe joints at key parts of the product. 5.9 Rock Drilling Test The gas consumption for rock drilling of the product shall be tested in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 5621.The noise shall be tested in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 5898-2004. 5.10 Weighing Test The overall unit weight of the product is measured by weighing method. 5.11 Product Safety Inspection The product safety inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB 17957-2005. 6 Inspection Rules 6.1 Exit-Factory Inspection The products shall be inspected item by item before leaving the factory. The inspection items include product assembly quality and appearance quality as well as the provisions of 5.2 to 5.9.All performance and quality indicators shall comply with the provisions of Table 1 as well as 4.14 and 4.15. ......
