3 Terms and definitions
No terms and definitions need to be defined in this document.
6.1.1.2 Before testing the dimensional change rate of washing, pre-conditioning shall
be carried out according to the standard atmosphere specified in GB/T 6529, and the
test shall be carried out after a qualified conditioning.
6.1.2 Test method
6.1.2.1 Formaldehyde content
Follow the regulations of GB/T 2912.1.
6.1.2.2 pH
Follow the regulations of GB/T 7573.
6.1.2.3 Unpleasant odor
Follow the regulations of GB 18401.
6.1.2.4 Resoluble carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes
Follow the regulations of GB/T 17592.
6.1.2.5 Fiber content
Follow the regulations of GB/T 2910 (all parts), GB/T 38015, FZ/T 01026, FZ/T 01057
(all parts), FZ/T 01101.
6.1.2.6 Bursting strength
Follow the regulations of GB/T 19976-2005, where the diameter of the steel ball is
(38±0.02) mm.
6.1.2.7 Pilling
Follow the regulations of Method E in GB/T 4802.1-2008, and base the rating of
fuzzing and pilling sample of knitted fabrics on GSB 16-1523. When the surface of the
fabric is uneven due to structures such as jacquard, different structural parts can be
selected for testing according to the actual situation, and the lowest value is taken as
the result.
6.1.2.8 Dimensional change rate of washing
6.1.2.8.1 Measurement locations
For jackets, the calculation is based on the average value of the front, back, left, and
right jacket lengths in the vertical direction, and the measurement value of the front
jacket length in the horizontal direction. For the pants, the calculation is based on the
average value of the left and right pants lengths in the vertical direction, and the average
value 10 cm from the left and right crotch lengths in the horizontal direction. Mark
L1 – the average value of the dimension after washing in the vertical or horizontal
direction (accurate to 0.1 cm), in centimeters (cm);
L0 – the average value of the dimension before washing in the vertical or horizontal
direction (accurate to 0.1 cm), in centimeters (cm).
6.1.2.9 Color fastness to water
Follow the regulations of GB/T 5713.
6.1.2.10 Color fastness to soaping
Follow the test condition A (1) of GB/T 3921-2008.
6.1.2.11 Color fastness to perspiration
Follow the regulations of GB/T 3922.
6.1.2.12 Color fastness to rubbing
Follow the regulations of GB/T 3920, for only the vertical direction.
6.1.2.13 Staining degree of lotion
Prepare and wash the sample according to method A (1) in GB/T 3921-2008; then, use
qualitative filter paper (medium speed) to filter to remove impurities in the residual
soap solution; pour the filtered soap solution into a colorimetric tube with a diameter of
25 mm; pour the soap solution that has not been washed and has the same temperature
as the test temperature into another colorimetric tube (diameter 25 mm) as a reference
sample. Under the D65 standard light source, with the white cardboard without
fluorescent whitening agent as the background, place the cardboard on the rating frame,
and evaluate the staining degree of the lotion according to GB/T 251. The amount of
soap solution poured into the colorimetric tube is about 50 mL, and the distance
between the colorimetric tube and the white cardboard, during the rating, is about 10
cm, to avoid interference from the shadow of the colorimetric tube. The rating must be
completed within 15 minutes.
6.1.2.14 Appearance quality after washing
Wash and dry according to the provisions of the test method of dimensional change rate
of washing in this document, and evaluate the washed underwear according to the
requirements of Table 1.
6.2 Appearance quality inspection
6.2.1 Inspection conditions
It is generally inspected under a light source with illumination not less than 600 lx. If
natural light is used indoors, natural north light shall prevail. During inspection, the
