This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces GB/T 29868-2013 "General technical criterion for
knitted sports protection article". Compared with GB/T 29868-2013, the main
changes are as follows:
-- Modify the scope of application of the standard (see Chapter 1; Chapter 1
of version 2013);
-- Modify and supplement normative references (see Chapter 2; Chapter 2
of version 2013);
-- Modify some indicators and specifications, including adding the color
fastness to wet rubbing, changing the name of "metal hazards" to "sharp
objects such as metal needle", changing the stretch and recovery rate
assessment item "lateral" to "extending direction", and adding a
description of the conditions for not evaluating the item (see Tables 1 and
3.3; Table 1 and 3.3 of version 2013);

technical requirements
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the basic technical requirements, detection methods
and sampling rules for knitted sports protective products. Other requirements
for sports protective products shall be implemented in accordance with relevant
product standards.
This Standard applies to knitted sports protective products whose main raw
material is textile fiber, which are knitted by knitting technology or are made of
knitted fabric and polyurethane foam materials, including ankle guard, leg guard,
kneecap, waist support, wrister, barcer, elbow pad, shoulder pad and headband.
This Standard does not apply to sports protective products for infants and young
children aged 36 months and below.

3.3 For stretch and recovery, only cylindrical products that contain elastic
materials such as spandex and rubber bands are assessed; products that are
laminated with knitted fabrics and polyurethane foam are not assessed.
3.4 For the N-nitrosamine item, only test the rubber band that is used in
protective clothing. The list of non-detectable N-nitrosamines is shown in
Appendix A; the limit value is less than or equal to 0.5 mg/kg.
4 Test method
4.1 Color fastness test to perspiration
Perform according to GB/T 3922.
4.2 Color fastness test to water
Perform according to GB/T 5713.
4.3 Color fastness test to rubbing
Perform according to GB/T 3920; in general, only assess the straight direction.
4.4 Formaldehyde content test
Perform according to GB/T 2912.1.
4.5 pH value test
Perform according to GB/T 7573.
4.6 Odor test
Perform according to GB 18401.
4.7 Resoluble carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes test
Perform according to GB/T 17592.
4.8 Sharp objects such as metal needle
Perform according to GB/T 24121; use the detection sensitivity (standard iron
ball test card): 1.0 mm.
4.9 Stretch and recovery test
Perform according to the regulations in of FZ/T 70006-2004. Do the test
of product extending direction only, which is generally horizontal stretch. Do not
damage the product; clamp in double layers. The clamp width is greater than
