1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements,
and marking of express delivery vehicles.
This Standard applies to express delivery vehicles modified on a finalized
automobile chassis or finalized automobile.
2 Normative references
The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
For the dated references, only the editions with the dates indicated are
applicable to this document. For the undated references, the latest edition
(including all the amendments) are applicable to this document.

5.3 The automobile chassis or finished automobile, purchased parts, and
outsourcing manufactured parts for the modification shall have the product
qualification certificate. The self-made parts shall pass the inspection.
5.4 The maximum manufacturer’s total mass and the maximum manufacturer’s
axle load mass shall not exceed the maximum allowable value of the selected
chassis or finished automobile. The dimensions shall meet the requirements of
GB 1589.
5.5 The number, location, and light color requirements of external lighting and
light-signaling devices shall comply with the provisions of GB 4785.
5.6 The safety requirements of express delivery vehicles shall comply with the
relevant provisions of GB 7258.
5.7 Category A express delivery vehicles shall, in accordance with the
provisions of GB 11567, be provided with lateral and rear underrun protective
devices.
5.8 Other safety, environmental protection, and energy saving items shall
comply with the requirements of relevant mandatory standards.
5.9 Electroplated parts shall comply with the provisions of QC/T 625.
5.10 Heat treatment parts shall comply with the relevant provisions of JB/T 5943.
5.11 All fasteners shall be connected firmly and reliably; and when driving, shall
not be loose.
5.12 The riveting shall be firm. The rivets shall be arranged neatly. The rivet
head shall not be cracked, skewed, or incomplete. USE a feeler gauge to detect
that the local gap between the rivet head and the parent metal faying surface is
not more than 0.05 mm.
5.13 The paint coating shall comply with the provisions of QC/T 484.
5.14 In a location which is easy to see and easy to access, fire extinguishers
shall be placed. The fire extinguisher shall be installed securely; and during
driving, shall not be loose.
5.15 For express delivery vehicles equipped with spare tires, spare tires shall
be easy to load and unload, fixed and reliable.
5.16 The van of Category A express delivery vehicle shall have good rain proof
performance. During the rainfall test, the vehicle’s doors and windows are
reliably closed; the rainfall intensity is 5 mm/min~7 mm/min; the direction is 45°
with the vertical; and the rainfall time is not less than 30 min. There shall be no
water leakage in the van.
5.17 The rain proof performance limit and test method for Category B express
delivery vehicle shall comply with the provisions of QC/T 476. The rain proof
performance limit shall not be less than 80 scores.
5.18 There shall be windows on both sides of the drive cab (zone) of express
delivery vehicles. No window shall be provided in the van (except for the
observation window in the drive cab [zone] for observing the goods state). If
equipped with an observation window, on the inside of the van, solid and reliable
protective devices shall be installed. Category B express delivery vehicle shall,
behind the last row of seats, be fitted with rigid enclosed isolation devices
separated from the goods zone. An access door can be provided between the
drive cab (zone) and the van.
5.19 The van shall be equipped with a device for fixing or bundling the goods.
It shall be equipped with special goods shelves. The shelves shall be installed
firmly; and during driving, shall not be loose.
5.20 The van door shall be opened and closed flexibly and light, and work
reliably. The van door lock shall work flexibly and reliably; and shall not fall off
and open on its own.
5.21 For express delivery vehicles with the movable door ladder installed, the
movable door ladder shall be convenient to use, reliable in work; and when
driving, shall not be disengaged by itself.
5.22 The van door shall be equipped with a sealing strip. The sealing strip shall
be fixed reliably and sealed well.
5.23 The opening angle of van door shall meet the requirements for loading and
unloading goods. The door of Category A express delivery vehicle, after
opening, shall be securely locked in the van.
5.24 The connection between the van and the chassis of Category A express
delivery vehicle shall be firm and reliable.
5.25 Express delivery vehicles shall reserve the installation conditions for
remote monitoring vehicle terminals.
5.26 The express delivery vehicle shall be equipped with a reversing sound
reminder device. It shall be equipped with a visual image or radar reminder
system which is convenient for the driver to reverse. The express delivery
vehicle used for trunk transport shall be equipped with a reversing image device.
5.27 For express delivery vehicles equipped with tail-lift for vehicle, the tail-lift
