Foreword
This Standard was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard uses the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 4209-2.2012 Truck
and Bus Tyres and Rims (Metric Series) – Part 2. Rims.
Compared with ISO 4209-2.2012, the structure of this Standard has been adjusted;
and the clause number comparison list between this Standard and ISO 4209-2.2012
has been listed in the Appendix A.
Compared with ISO 4209-2.2012, this Standard has the technical difference, which
mainly, for the benefit of the use, increases the rim contour size code (see Chapter 4);
for adapting China’s national conditions, increases the Appendix B; whereof it mainly
indicates the bias tyre which is used more in China currently, and the specification of
rim supported by British Standard tyre; the modification against the graphics marks is
consistent with that of the matching standards.
This Standard makes the following editorial changes.
--- Change the standard name;
--- Delete the bibliography.
This Standard was proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee for
Standardization of Tyre and Rim (SAC/TC 19).

1 Scope

truck and bus wheel and tyres.
This Standard is applicable to the truck and bus wheel rims.
