This Standard replaces GB 25502-2010 "Minimum allowable values of water efficiency and water efficiency grades for water closets". Compared with GB 25502-2010, the main technical changes in this Standard are as follows: - added the term and definition for average water consumption of water closet; - modified the calculation formula for average water consumption in 4.2 of GB 25502-2010 according to GB 6952; - modified the water efficiency in Clause 4. This Standard was proposed by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Water Resources. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of Subcommittee on Water Efficiency of Water Products and Appliances of National Technical Committee on Industrial Water Saving of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 410). This Standard is applicable to the water efficiency evaluation of all types of water closets installed on cool water pipelines in building facilities and the water supply pressure is not greater than 0.6MPa. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. GB 6952 Sanitary wares 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB 6952 as well as the followings apply. 3.1 average water consumption of water closet The water consumption of the water closet which is measured and calculated according to the test method and calculation formula stipulated by the standard. 3.2 minimum allowable values of water efficiency for water closet The maximum water consumption allowed for the water closet, under the test conditions stipulated by the standard, when it meets the general technical requirements, flushing function requirements, and supporting technical requirements.
