This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"
Drafting:
This document replaces GB 18585-2001 "Limits of Hazardous Substances in Interior Decoration Materials and Wallpapers" and is consistent with GB 18585-2001
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) Changed the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the:2001 edition);
b) Changes in terms and definitions (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the:2001 edition);
c) Changes in the residual vinyl chloride monomer content and barium limit value requirements (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the:2001 edition);
d) Added requirements for phthalate ester content, total volatile organic compound release and short-chain chlorinated paraffin limit values (see Chapter 4)
and test methods (see 5:3, 5:5 and 5:6);
e) Formaldehyde was changed to formaldehyde release amount, and the limit value (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the:2001 edition) and the test method (see
5:4,:2001 version of 6:3);
f) The test method for heavy metal (or other) element content has been changed (see 5:1, 6:1 of the:2001 edition);
g) The inspection rules have been changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 7 of the:2001 edition);
