This document was drafted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents. This document is modified in relation to ISO 7646:1986 Commercial vehicles and buses - Gearbox flanges - Type A, ISO 7647:1986 Commercial vehicles and buses - Gearbox flanges - Type S and ISO 8667:1992 Commercial vehicles and buses - Cross-tooth gearbox flanges, type T. Compared to ISO 7646:1986, ISO 7647:1986 and ISO 8667:1992, this document has made the following structural adjustments: -- Chapter 4 corresponds to Chapter 4 of ISO 7646:1986, Chapter 4 of ISO 7647:1986 and Chapter 3 of ISO 8667:1992; -- 5.1 corresponds to Chapter 3 of ISO 7646:1986, 5.2 corresponds to Chapter 3 of ISO 7647:1986, and 5.3 corresponds to Chapter 3 of ISO 8667:1992. The technical differences between this document and ISO 7646:1986, ISO 7647:1986 and ISO 8667:1992 and their reasons are as follows: -- The flange marking method (see Chapter 4) has been changed to adapt to the unified provisions of this document; -- The height tolerance of the T-flange tooth has been changed (see Figure 9) to accommodate a wider range of processing techniques. The following editorial changes have been made to this document: -- ISO 7646:1986, ISO 7647:1986 and ISO 8667:1992 are integrated, and the standard name is changed to "Transmission flanges for commercial vehicles - Types A, S and T"; -- The annotation of the figures has been changed to comply with Chinese mechanical drawing standards. The transmission flange shall be marked in detail in the following order: a) The number of this document; b) Type code; c) Flange diameter d1 (applicable to type A and type T flanges) or specification code (applicable to type S flanges); d) Number of fixing bolts (applicable to type A and type S flanges); e) Thread specifications of fixing bolts (applicable to type A and type S flanges).
