This Standard replaced GB/T 10575-1989 Lithium Chloride Anhydrous. Compared with GB/T 10575-1989, the major changes of this Standard are as follows. --- Delete the Class-2 product (LiCl-2) in the original standard; add a superfine product designation (LiCl-T); --- Correspondingly change the requirements for the chemical compositions of Class-0 and Class-1 products; so that the quality levels of each designation products are improved compared with the requirements in the original standard. This Standard was proposed by China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee for Standardization of Non-Ferrous Metals. This Standard was drafted by Xinjiang Lithium Salts Factory. Participating drafting organizations of this Standard. Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium Co., Ltd.; and Jianzhong Chemical Corporation. Chief drafting staffs of this Standard. Chen Yuedi, Yu Chao, Xia Yongzhong, Li Liangbin. This Standard was interpreted by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Non-Ferrous Metals. This Standard was first-time published in 1989; and it is the first-time revised hereby. Anhydrous Lithium Chloride1 Scope
This Standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage, etc. of the anhydrous lithium chloride product. This Standard is applicable to the anhydrous lithium chloride made by the conversion method with lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide monohydrate or Li-contained brine as raw materials. This Product is used for the welding, material and air-conditioning devices, as well as for making lithium metal, etc.2 Normative References

3.1 Product classification The product can be divided into three designations according to the chemical compositions, i.e., LiCl-T, LiCl-0, LiCl-1. 3.2 Chemical compositions The chemical compositions of the product shall comply with the provisions of Table 1.4 Test Methods
4.1 The analysis of chemical compositions of the product shall be carried out as per the provisions of GB/T 11064.5 Inspection Rules
5.1 Inspection and acceptance 5.1.1 The product shall be inspected by the quality supervision department of the supplier, ensuring that the product to comply with the provisions of this Standard or order contract; and fill the quality certificate. 5.2 Batching Products shall be submitted for acceptance in batches, each batch consists of the mixture of the same designation. The net weight of each batch shall be 1 000 kg ± 1 kg. 5.3 Sampling 5.3.1 Take any 1 piece for less than 10 pieces; take any 2 pieces for 10~20 pieces; and take any 4 pieces for more than 20 pieces. 5.4 Judgment of inspection results 5.4.1 When the chemical composition is unqualified, the batch of products shall be judged as unqualified.6 Marking, Packaging, Transportation and Storage
6.1 Marking The product pack shall be marked with the following information such as product name, batch number, molecular formula, net weight, gross weight, place of origin and the "fear of moisture" mark in Figure 6 of GB 191-2000, and the "chemical " mark in Figures 1~5 of GB/T 6388- 1986. 6.2 Packaging, transportation and storage 6.3 Quality certificate Each batch of products shall be attached with quality certificate, indicating.7 Order Form (or Contract) Contents
