This document replaces LY/T 2005-2012 "National Forest Park Master Plan Specifications". Compared with LY/T 2005-2012,
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2012 edition).
b) The normative references have been changed (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.2012 edition).
c) Added the definition of "forest park" and the term "main protected object", changed the definition of "national forest park", deleted the term "forest
Park master plan", "forest landscape resources", "landscape", "attractions", "scenic spots", "tour routes", "comprehensive functional zoning", "ecological capacity", "human
terms such as “population capacity” and “eco-culture” (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2012 edition).
d) The nature and development objectives of forest parks have been changed, and the planning principles, main protection objects and planning tasks of forest parks have been added.

This document defines the nature, objectives and main protected objects of national forest parks, and clarifies the overall planning principles, basic conditions, scope and

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Forest Park
Delineated or confirmed by governments at all levels or relevant departments, with forest resources as the main support, for ecological, ornamental, cultural and scientific values
Natural ecosystems, natural relics and natural landscapes are areas where long-term protection and sustainable utilization are implemented and which are incorporated into the nature reserve system management.
Forest parks are divided into national and local levels.
3.2
National Forest Park
It is defined or confirmed by the forestry and grassland authorities of the State Council in accordance with the law, in the forest ecosystem and the natural resources and natural landscapes it carries.
It is a forest park with nationally important conservation value in terms of landscape, natural relics, wild animals and plants, habitats, and historical culture.
