1 Scope

Test technical requirements. This standard applies to the testing of all new varieties of Lagerstroemia.

The terms in the following documents become the terms of this standard by reference to this standard. 3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions established in GB/T 19557.1-2004 apply to this standard.

4 DUS test technical requirements

4.1 Test materials 4.1.1 The time and place of the test variety delivered by the approval authority and the quantity and quality of the plant material required for testing. Non-tested For materials submitted by the state or region, the applicant shall provide relevant documents such as customs and phytosanitary in accordance with the relevant provisions on entry and exit and transportation. 4.1.2 The test material submitted should be a 2-year-old plant that is propagated by cuttings. 4.1.3 The number of test materials provided shall not be less than 10 strains. 4.1.4 The new variety of materials to be tested shall be plants that are free of pests and diseases and grow normally. 4.1.5 Except where the approval authority permits or requires the treatment of the material, the submitted plant material shall not be subject to any amount of trait expression. External processing. If it has been processed, detailed information about the processing should be provided. 4.2 Test methods 4.2.1 Test cycle and time Test at least one growth cycle if the test conditions are met. 4.2.2 Test location The test site for the new variety to be tested shall be carried out in the test base and laboratory designated by the approval authority. 4.2.3 Test conditions The test shall be carried out under the condition that the relevant characteristics of the new variety to be tested can be fully expressed, and the selected test materials shall be at least at the test site. The site is fixed for more than one year. 4.2.4 Test Design 4.2.4.1 New varieties to be tested 10 plants should be planted in the test area, planted in the same location and environmental conditions as standard and similar varieties. 4.2.4.2 If the test requires extraction of certain parts of the plant as a sample, the sample collection shall not affect the entire growth cycle of the test plant. Observation. 4.2.4.3 Unless otherwise stated, all observations shall be made on materials on the same part of 6 plants or 6 plants.
