Offshore forecast sea area division
1 Scope
This standard specifies the division scope and title of the forecast sea areas in the sea areas under my country's jurisdiction and adjacent sea areas.
This standard applies to ocean forecasts, warnings and analysis products such as ocean waves, sea temperature and ocean currents produced and issued by my country's ocean forecasting departments.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
Offshore forecast sea area
The outer boundary of the coastal forecast sea area from the sea side to the Bohai Sea, the Yellow Sea, the East China Sea, the Taiwan Strait, the South China Sea and adjacent areas west of 130.00° east longitude

Note. The coastal forecast sea area refers to the sea area on the land side of the outer limit of my country's territorial sea. The coastal forecast area of the Bohai Sea is within 12 nautical miles from the coastline to the sea side.

3 Offshore forecast sea area
3.1 Bohai
The sea area formed by the Liaodong Peninsula and the Shandong Peninsula, east to Laotieshanjiao at the southern end of the Liaodong Peninsula and Penglaijiao on the north coast of the Shandong Peninsula

3.2 Northern Yellow Sea
From the line connecting Laotieshanjiao at the southern end of the Liaodong Peninsula and Penglai Cape on the northern shore of the Shandong Peninsula in the west, to Chengshantou in the eastern part of the Shandong Peninsula and southern Korea in the south

3.3 Central Yellow Sea
It starts from the line connecting Chengshantou in the east of Shandong Peninsula and Changshan in south Korea, and to the south at the mouth of the Xiujin River at the junction of Shandong and Jiangsu.
35.10° north latitude line.
3.4 Southern Yellow Sea
From the 35.10° north latitude line of the Xiuzhen River estuary at the junction of Shandong Province and Jiangsu Province in the north, to Qidong Cape on the north bank of the Yangtze River Estuary and Jeju Island in South Korea in the south
The southwest corner is connected, and the southwest corner of Jeju Island in South Korea is located on the east side. The meridian extends north to the southern end of the Korean Peninsula.
3.5 Northwest of the East China Sea
From the north coast of the Yangtze River estuary to the southwest corner of Jeju Island in South Korea, from the north of the Yangtze River Estuary to the southwest corner of South Korea, the south is bounded by the 30.00° north latitude line and the east to the east longitude line 125.00°.
3.6 Southwest of the East China Sea
From the north to the north latitude line of 30.00° and the northwest of the East China Sea as the boundary, the southwest to the junction of Pingtan Island in Fujian Province and the northern end of Taiwan Island, and the south to Taiwan
The eastern part of the island connects Sandiaojiao with the Miyako Islands in Japan, east to the 125.00° east longitude line.
3.7 Northeast of the East China Sea
From the southwest corner of Jeju Island in South Korea to the first line of Kyushu Island in Japan, from the south to the 30.00° north latitude line, the west to the east longitude line 125.00° and the northwest part of the East China Sea
