1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and determination rules for the maturity of target materials.
This standard applies to the evaluation of target technology maturity.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
Target
The cathode part in sputtering deposition technology. The cathode material is in the form of molecules, atoms or ions under the impact of positively charged cations.
