1 Scope
This standard specifies the CANDU nuclear power plant fuel bundle of technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and packaging, labeling, storage, transport, etc.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

4.1 fuel bundle
4.1.1 The structure and size
Fuel bundle structure and size should meet the requirements of the drawings.
4.1.2 surface quality

b) the envelope dents, scratches, imprint depth less than 10% of the minimum wall thickness, other parts dents, scratches, mark the depth of not more than
0.25mm, the surface of the end plug can not exceed 0.25mm depth arc pit;
c) fuel bundle surface radioactive contamination of not more than 2.8 × 10-8gU/cm2.
4.1.3 strength requirements
Welding torque strength of the end plate and the fuel element between the requirements. the outer ring is not less than 6.8N · m, the outer ring is not less than the non-4.5N · m.
4.1.4 Corrosion
After the high-pressure fuel bundle corrosion test should have a layer of black shiny surface, no visible white or brown corrosion.
4.2 Sintered natural uranium dioxide pellets
Sintered natural uranium dioxide pellets, should meet GB/T 25452 requirements.
