Preface
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting.
The current standards for child-resistant packaging include GB/T 42089 "Requirements for child-resistant packaging for non-pharmaceutical non-reclosable packaging".
GB/T 25163 “Requirements and test methods for child-resistant reclosable packages”.
This document replaces GB/T 25163-2010 "Requirements and test methods for child-resistant reclosable packages" and
Compared with GB/T 25163-2010, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Added key features to be considered (see 4.1.1);
b) The part about testing together with bushing has been deleted [see 3.2.2d) of the.2010 edition];
c) Added supplements and changes (see 4.1.2.5);
d) Added test supervision (see 5.1);
e) Added torque-dependent requirements for closed systems during pre-inspection and preparation (see 5.3.2);
f) Changed the requirement for parental presence (see 5.4.1.2, 4.3.1.2 of the.2010 edition);
g) Added protection against external interference (see 5.4.1.5);
h) Added test location requirements (see 5.4.3);
i) Added result record (see 5.4.5);
j) Added success/failure (see 6.1.1);
k) Added record chart drawing (see 6.1.2.1);
l) Added the content of the full group test (see 6.1.3);
m) Added the basic contents of "Instruction List for Test Personnel" and "Operation Instructions for Adults" [see 7.1f) and g)].
This document is modified to adopt ISO 8317.2015 “Requirements and test methods for child-resistant reclosable packages”.
This document has the following structural adjustments compared to ISO 8317.2015.
--- Added a chapter on "Normative References";
--- Added items (see 4.1.1);
--- Added section numbers 5.3.1 and 5.3.2 (see 5.3);
--- Changed the description of the test group personnel conditions (see 5.5.2);
--- Adjusted the relevant information to be recorded for successful package opening before and after demonstration, splitting it into two columns (see 7.2).
The technical differences between this document and ISO 8317.2015 and their reasons are as follows.
--- Added "liner" (see 3.8), because "liner" and "gasket" correspond to the same English name;
--- Added "type approval" (see 3.11). Since type approval appears many times in the text and is difficult to understand, a definition is given;
--- Change the ISO 8317 note to the main text (see 4.1.1) to facilitate expression and understanding;
--- Added the description of the success case (see 6.1.1) to correspond to the failure case.
The following editorial changes have been made to this document.
--- To coordinate with the existing standard, the name of the standard was changed to "Requirements and Test Methods for Child-Resistant Reclosable Packages".
Please note that some of the contents of this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document does not assume the responsibility for identifying patents.

introduction
The revision of this document aims to regulate products that are packaged to prevent children from opening, supervise relevant packaging manufacturers, and ensure the safety of children.
This document is used to measure the effectiveness of packaging in preventing children from opening it and the possibility of adults accessing the contents. It is not applicable to
Child-resistant packaging quality certification.
The purpose of this document is for group testing to be an initial type approval and it does not fully cover change management.
ISO 13127 describes the relevant evaluation methods based on minor modifications of the packaging.
Note. Change management includes but is not limited to changing suppliers, packaging materials, component production locations, material brands or expansion, etc.
The test requires the participation of appropriate supervision and certification bodies. GB/T 27025 provides guidance on test capability, impartiality, etc.
In addition to reclosable child-resistant packaging that meets the requirements of this document, relevant parties in the supply chain meet the following requirements.
a) a quality system has been established to ensure that child-resistant packaging is correctly manufactured and consistently complies with this document;
b) The average useful life of a child-resistant package exceeds the maximum number of openings and correct closings that could actually occur without causing
Causes unacceptable impairment of child-resistant performance or functionality;
c) The packaging complies with relevant requirements, such as suitability and compatibility with the contents and provision of mechanical protection in the intended geographical area and climatic conditions
and run normally.
Note that some contents may affect the physical or mechanical properties of the packaging system and the child-resistant function may be lost over time.
The packaging in this case may not comply with this document. Appropriate methods need to be used to assess the compatibility between the packaging and the contents.
