This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces GB/T 24821-2009 "Dining tables and chairs". Compared with GB/T 24821-2009, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes,
In addition to the dynamic, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2009 edition);
b) The definitions of “turntable” and “turntable” in the Terms and Definitions have been deleted (see 3.1 and 3.2 of the.2009 edition);
c) Deleted the dimensional tolerance, tabletop width, tabletop depth, tabletop height, and round tabletop diameter in the main dimensions and limit deviation requirements.
2.The provisions for the diameter, width, height, depth and diameter of the round stool surface (see Table 1 of the.2009 edition);
d) Added dimensional requirements for the inner width of armrests of armchairs, the clearance height under tables, and the height difference between the seat surfaces of chairs and stools (see Table 1);

h) Added requirements and test methods for moisture resistance, heat resistance and pollution resistance of soft and hard coverings (see Table 4, 6.5.5.3 and 6.5.5.5);
i) Added surface physical and chemical property requirements and test methods for stone, ceramic slabs, and glass (see Table 4, 6.5.6, and 6.5.7);
j) The provisions on surface bonding strength in the surface physical and chemical properties have been deleted (see Table 4 of the.2009 edition);
k) Changed the requirements and test methods for strength and durability of tables and chairs (see 5.6 and 6.6, 5.5 and
6.5.1);
l) The requirements and test methods for turntable impact strength have been deleted (see Table 5 and 6.5.3 of the.2009 edition);
m) Added structural safety performance requirements and test methods (see 5.7 and 6.7);
n) The requirements and test methods for the limits of hazardous substances in furniture have been changed (see 5.8 and 6.8, and 5.6 and 6.6 of the.2009 edition);
o) Added requirements and test methods for electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility of dining tables and chairs (see 5.9, 5.10, 6.9 and 6.10);
p) The test method for wood moisture content has been changed (see 6.3.2, 6.4.1 of the.2009 edition);
q) The test method for dry heat resistance of glass surface has been changed (see 6.5.7, Appendix B of the.2009 edition).
