This revised standard adopts ISO 15755.1999 "Paper and paperboard impurities estimate."
This standard and ISO 15755.1999 as compared to the main differences are as follows.
--- Remove the ISO 15755.1999 Annex B;
--- Normative references to international standards in the ISO standard document references into its corresponding national standard, GB/T 450 paper
And to take samples and specimens of vertical and horizontal to the board, positive and negative determination (GB/T 450-2008, ISO 186.2002, MOD);
--- Instrument calibration due to lack of experience, this standard does not provide accurate repeatability and reproducibility of the data.

This standard specifies the method for determination of paper sheet visible impurities estimates reflecting light.
This standard applies to the majority of paper and paperboard.
