Foreword
This standard is equivalent to using ISO 3808.2002 "Road vehicles - unshielded high voltage ignition cables - General requirements, test methods and requirements"
First Edition (in English).
For ease of use, this standard made the following editorial changes.
--- Remove the ISO 3808.2002 Introduction;
--- Chapter 2 using key words applicable to our standards, deleted ISO 3808.2002 introductory phrase;
--- Chapter 2 normative references in ISO 1817.1999 is amended as ISO 1817.2005;
--- Increase the informative Appendix B "product type and mark."
This standard replaces GB/T 14820.1-1993 "High tension ignition wires for road vehicle - Part 1. General requirements"

--- The GB/T 14820.1-1993, GB/T 14820.2-1993 and GB/T 14820.3-1993 in 70 ℃, 105 ℃ resistance
Hot product contents are expressed as thermal overload test temperature of 105 ℃, 120 ℃ of product content;
--- Increases the thermal overload test temperature of 155 ℃, 180 ℃, 220 ℃, 250 ℃ four product level content;
--- Remove the No. 20 oil content (GB/T 14820.1-1993 in 5.7.2);
--- Increased the capacitance requirements (this standard 4.6);
--- Increased resistance to brake fluid test content (This standard 4.15.4);
--- Increasing the resistance to the anti-freezing agent test content (This standard 4.15.5).

Grade 3.1 high voltage ignition wires
The thermal overload test (see 4.9) test temperature, high voltage ignition wires are divided into six levels (Table 1).
