Foreword
GB/T 13566 "fertilizer bulk density determination" is divided into two parts.
--- Part 1. Loose bulk density;
--- Part 2. tap bulk density.
This section is GB/T Part of 113,566.
This part identical with ISO 3944.1992 "--- fertilizer bulk density (loose) determination."
In order to meet China's national conditions, when this part of the adoption of international standards of editorial changes. The main difference between this part and the international standard is
Normative documents guiding pragmatic language instead of the corresponding national standards guiding international standards.
This part of the terms and provisions correspond to international standards.
For ease of use, this section also made the following editorial changes.
--- "This International Standard" be replaced by "GB/T 13566 this part" or "this part";
--- With a decimal point versus decimal comma ",". ",";
--- Deleted international standards foreword.
This Part replaces GB/T 13566-1992 "fertilizer bulk density determination" in part, GB/T 13566-1992 of fertilizer
Sign tight bulk density materials continue to be valid.
This section compared with the GB/T 13566-1992 main changes are as follows.
--- Standard name was changed to "Determination of bulk density of fertilizer - Part 1. Loose bulk density";
--- Remove the determination of bulk density of the tight shot of fertilizer;
--- Increased introduction;
--- Increased in Chapter 2, normative references;
--- Increased in Chapter 6 of the sample preparation;
--- Increased Chapter 9 test report.
This part is proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
This part of the National Standardization Technical Committee and soil conditioners Fertilizers (SAC/TC105) centralized.

Introduction
Loose bulk density of fertilizer and tapped bulk density is to provide relevant information on the fertilizer packaging material, warehouse, repository size requirements. through
Often tapped bulk density loose bulk density ratio of 10%, sometimes more than this value. Both depend on the actual density, particle shape and fertilizer
size.
Loose bulk density fertilizer in practice can be used to calculate the maximum volume of a given mass of fertilizer, manure given share of real quality
Interpersonal volume generally is calculated within a loose pile density, and tap bulk density range.

Determination of bulk density of fertilizer
Part 1. Loose bulk density
1 Scope
GB/T 13566 provisions of this part of the determination of solid fertilizer loose bulk density.
This section applies only in dry fertilizer, such as manure in the transport, storage process is hygroscopic, it must be measured before at a constant low humidity
Environmental test chamber and dried.
This section does not apply to powdery fertilizer, it does not apply to a particle size greater than 5mm particles containing a large amount of fertilizer.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this section.
3.1
After under clearly defined conditions, solid fertilizers poured through the free flow of container, the unit volume of the fertilizer quality. Fertilizer loose bulk density
Grams per cubic centimeter (g/cm3) represents.
Principle 4
By specifying the sample was poured into the funnel specified measuring cylinder of known volume, and then weighing the sample measuring cylinder.
5 Instruments
5.1 Balance. Sensitivity 1g;
5.2 Determination of loose bulk density means. the approximate dimensions shown in Figure 1, from the following components.
5.2.1 movable measuring tube. no mouth, its capacity should be measured in advance, accurate to 1cm3;
NOTE. Determination of loose bulk density of the components of the apparatus to be in contact with the fertilizer, it is appropriate corrosion-resistant material (such as glass, plastic, etc.) is made.
5.2.2 bracket funnel.
5.3 blade, approximate dimensions of 120mm × 20mm, or other suitable means.
Prepare 6 samples
Sample preparation according to ISO 7742 and ISO 8358 methods to ensure adequate sample replicates.
Step 7
Do two parallel determination of sample.
