1 Scope
This standard specifies the monitoring method for the gypsy moth (Lymantriadispar Linnaeus) in the entry and exit phytosanitary.
This standard applies to the monitoring of gypsy moths at and around the port.
2 Terms and definitions

The sex attractant is a synthetic chemical substance that has a trapping effect on the gypsy moth male moth. The chemical name is cis 7,8-epoxy-2-methyl octadecane.

3 Principle
The gypsy moth attractant has an attractive effect on the male moth. Under the cooperation of the gypsy moth trap, the gypsy moth male moth can be captured (see Appendix A).
