Determination of gas chromatography - mass spectrometry
1 Scope
This standard specifies the ethylene - vinyl acetate copolymer and its products formamide gas chromatography - mass spectrometry method.
This standard applies to ethylene - vinyl acetate copolymer (referred to as EVA) and its products in the determination of formamide.
2 method summary
The residual formamide in the sample was extracted with methanol in a Soxhlet apparatus and detected by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MSD)
Qualitative detection with full scan, select the ion external standard quantitative.
3 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise indicated, all reagents used are analytical grade or above purity reagents.
3.1 methanol. Chromatographic purity.
3.2 Formamide. Purity ≥98% (CAS No.75-12-7, Formula .HCONH2).
3.3 Standard stock solution Accurately weigh 0.1000g of formamide standard (3.2), dissolve the constant volume to 100mL volumetric flask with methanol (3.1)
, Prepared into a concentration of 1000μg/mL standard stock solution, packed in brown bottles, 4 ℃ preservation, valid for 6 months.
3.4 Standard Working Solution The standard stock solution (3.3) is diluted stepwise with methanol (3.1) to a concentration of 1.0 μg/mL, 5.0 μg/mL,
10.0μg/mL, 20.0μg/mL, 50.0μg/mL, 100μg/mL standard working solution, stored at 4 ℃, valid for 3 months.

4.1 GC-MS with mass selective detector (MSD).
4.2 Analytical Balance. Sense of 0.1mg.
4.3 Rotary evaporator.
4.4 Soxhlet extraction device.
4.5 KD concentrated bottle .150 mL.

5 test methods
5.1 Extraction
