This Part is Part 2 of GB/T 5836. This Part referred to ISO 3633.2002 "Plastics piping systems for soil and waste discharge (low and high-temperature) inside buildings -- Unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U)". Combining with the actual conditions of production and application in China, it revised GB/T 5836.2-1992 "Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride fittings for drainage in buildings". Since the implementation of this Standard, it replaces GB/T 5836.2-1992. Compared with GB/T 5836.2-1992, the main changes in technical content in this Part are as follows. - added the clauses of "Definitions and symbols" and "Materials"; - added the provisions on elastic sealing ring fittings; - expanded the product specifications from 40mm ~ 160mm to 32mm ~ 315mm; - specified the wall thickness requirements for different parts of fittings; partially modified other sizes; - deleted the classification of superior products and qualified products; - added the requirements for product density; - specified the Vicat softening temperature as 74°C; - added the requirements for system applicability; - added Annex A. Annex A of this Part is informative. This Part was proposed by China Light Industry Federation. Unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) fittings for soil and waste inside buildings 1 Scope This Part specifies the definitions, materials, product classifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transport and storage of unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) fittings that take polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin as main raw material and are molded through injection (hereinafter referred to as the fittings). This Part is applicable to the fittings for soil and waste inside buildings. In consideration of the chemical resistance and heat resistance of the material, it can also be applicable to industrial drainage pipe fittings. The fittings specified in this Part are used in conjunction with the fittings specified in GB/T 5836.1-2006 "Unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) pipes for soil and waste discharge inside buildings". 2 Normative references The following standards contain the provisions which, through reference in this Part, constitute the provisions of this Part. For dated references, subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to this Part. However, the parties who enter into agreement based on this Part are encouraged to investigate whether the latest versions of these documents are applicable. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this Part. When necessary, it may cut the fitting out to measure. 7.3.2 Average inner diameter of socket middle part (end) Measure the two mutually perpendicular inner diameters of the socket middle part (end) with an inner diameter gauge with an accuracy of not less than 0.01 mm. Take its arithmetic mean as the average inner diameter. 7.3.3 Average outer diameter of socket Measure according to GB/T 8806. 7.3.4 Lengths of socket and jacket Measured with a Vernier caliper with an accuracy of not less than 0.02 mm. 7.4 Density Determine according to Method A in GB/T 1033-1986. 7.5 Vicat softening temperature Measure according to GB/T 8802-2001. 7.6 Oven test Measure according to GB/T 8803-2001. 7.7 Fall test Measure according to GB/T 8801. 7.8 Systematic applicability 7.8.1 Water tightness Measure according to Annex A of GB/T 5836.1-2006. The type inspection items are all technical requirements of Clause 6. Carry out the inspections on 6.1~6.3 according to 8.3.2. In the samples qualified in inspection, randomly take enough samples for each inspection in 6.4 and 6.5. In general, perform at least once every two years. Type inspection shall be performed in one of the following situations. - trial model identification for new product or old product produced in transferred plant; - great changes in structure, material, technique after official production which may affect product performances; - production resumed after discontinued production of more than one year; - great difference between exit-factory inspection results and previous type inspection results; - required by national quality supervision organization. 8.5 Determination rules Should one of 6.1~6.3 fail to comply with the provisions of Table 5, this batch shall be determined as rejected. If one of the physical and mechanical properties fails to meet the indicator requirement, double samples shall be randomly selected from the batch for re-inspection. If the re-inspection still fails, this batch shall be rejected. 9 Marks, packaging, transport and storage 9.1 Marks 9.1.1 The product shall at least have the following permanent marks. a) factory name or trademark; b) material name.
