Foreword
SN/T 1504 "Food Containers, Plastic Materials for Packaging" is divided into five parts.
--- Part 1. Determination of phenolic antioxidants and erucamide slip agents in polypropylene homopolymers.
--- Part 2. Determination of phenolic antioxidants and succinic acid slip agents in linear low-density polyethylene - Liquid chromatography;
---Part 3. Determination of butyl-hydroxytoluene (BHT) in ethylene polymers and ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers
Phase chromatography
---Part 4. Determination of phenolic antioxidants in high-density polyethylene - Liquid chromatography;
---Part 5. Determination of content of impurity elements in polyolefins by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
This part is the second part of the SN/T 1504.
This part of the amendment uses the contents of ASTM D5815-1996, the title is revised to "food containers, plastic materials for packaging linear
Determination of phenolic antioxidants and erucamide slip agents in low density polyethylene by liquid chromatography.
Appendix A of this section is an informative annex.
This part is proposed and managed by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration.
This part is drafted by the Tianjin Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of the People's Republic of China.

This section is the first industry standard for entry-exit inspection and quarantine.
Food containers, plastic materials for packaging - Part 2.
Phenolic antioxidants and erucyl groups in linear low density polyethylene
Determination of amine slip agents - Liquid chromatography
1 Scope
This part of SN/T 1504 stipulates phenolic antioxidants and mustardamide in linear low-density polyethylene for import and export food containers and packaging.
Method for determining the amount of slip agent.
This section applies to the separation and determination of phenolic antioxidants and erucamide slip agents in food containers and linear low density polyethylene for packaging.
2 Method summary
A sample of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) was ground to a particle size of 20 mesh and then extracted with isobutanol or isopropanol under reflux. Extract
Determined by liquid chromatograph internal standard method.
Note. For low crystallinity LLDPE (density less than or equal to 0.925), it is recommended to use isopropanol as the extractant; for high crystallinity LLDPE (containing
Irganox 1010) recommends the use of isobutanol as an extractant.
