DC potentiometer verification procedure
1 Scope
This procedure is applicable to the first verification of a resistive DC potentiometer with an accuracy class of 0.0005 to 0.1.
Subsequent verification and in-use inspection.
This procedure does not apply to.
a) automatically obtain a zero-balance potentiometer;
b) using a balance detector scale to obtain a partial difference value of the potentiometer;
c) DC comparison ceremony potentiometer;
d) Potentiometers for other special purposes.

3 terms
3.1 DC potentiometer (hereinafter referred to as potentiometer)
Is a voltage measuring instrument that balances the measured voltage with a known voltage, which can be
A fixed current flows through the adjustable resistor or is obtained by passing a variable current through a fixed resistor, or a combination thereof.
3.2 Measuring plate
The dial that determines the measured value, if any, should also be multiplied by the corresponding range factor.
3.3 Effective range
For a specified range factor, the potentiometer can measure the range of the scale according to the specified accuracy.
3.4 range converter
A device that multiplies the effective range by a factor called the "sampling factor" (for example, 0.1).
3.5 Standardization of potentiometer
In order to ensure the necessary adjustment of the accurate indication when measuring the potentiometer.
3.6 scale display value
The potentiometer is balanced to measure the number of discs. When the potential difference meter is standardized to determine the measured voltage, multiply the amount
Process coefficient ratio.
3.7 Auxiliary equipment
