Summary
This standard specifies the use of penetration testing methods the basic rules of the weld metal surface openings imperfections. Also provides for the acceptance level of penetration testing display. Acceptance levels specified in this standard is mainly used for manufacturing and testing and, if appropriate, may also be used in-service inspection. The acceptance level using standard JB/T 9218 prescribed methods and parameters based on the standard recommendation is expected to reach the detection capability. Acceptance levels and welding standards, application standards, technical conditions or other relevant laws and regulations.
