Graphical symbols for associated auxiliary equipment
1 Scope
This guidance document defines graphical symbols that apply to press systems, finishing systems, and associated ancillary equipment. These figures
Symbols are used to distinguish purposes or display functions/states (conditions/methods) and are used in the operation of the device.
These graphical symbols are used primarily for device control, including buttons, touch screens, and keyboards.
2 Normative references
The following documents for the application of this document is essential. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this article
Pieces. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 graphic symbol design and placement requirements
3.1 graphic symbol design
The general requirements for graphical symbol design are given in the international standards IEC 80416-1 and ISO 80416-2.
Additional requirements for graphic symbols used in printing presses and finishing systems include the following. Pattern design should be legible. For this purpose
, The size of the symbol should be at least 10 mm × 10 mm, and the linearity of the pattern and the pixel reproduction should be clear. However, in some cases
, The size of the symbol may be larger than 10 mm × 10 mm for proper pixel reproduction. Text as the main part of the graphic (letters/numbers
Word) height should be at least 4mm, and should be easy to read in the operating parts.
Graphic symbols should be designed to high-contrast two-dimensional pattern.
Note. Graphical symbols that represent a three-dimensional object with isometric drawing are considered two-dimensional as they have only wide and high features.
Graphical outlines (small squares, circles, triangles, etc.) should be filled (filled with black, dark black). The opposite applies to the blank (with white or
Bright fill). Therefore, no matter what kind of situation should be applied to provide the corresponding background. The meaning of graphic symbols in this guideline is not
Should be based on the color or shape as a basis or change.
Graphic symbols should reflect the functioning of the operation.
3.2 graphic symbols placed in the direction
The graphical symbols of the control elements (keys, buttons, switches, etc.) shall be marked on or near the control element. When the graphical symbol is attached to the control block
In the near future, the entire dial should be consistent and the relationship with the control area should be clear.
Unless otherwise specified, the direction of the graphic symbol should be marked according to this instructional document.
When the direction of a graphic symbol is mirrored, it means that the graphic symbol can be mirrored or upside down in the vertical direction.
3.3 printing press and finishing system new graphic symbol proposal
In general, as technology changes, the demand for new graphical symbols is also growing. In order to control the different versions of the graphical symbols of devices
