Foreword
GB/T 5953 "cold heading wire" is divided into three parts.
--- Part 1. heat-type cold heading steel wire;
--- Part 2. Non-heat-type cold heading steel wire;
--- Part 3. non-quenched cold heading steel wire type.
This section GB/T 5953 Part 1, modify using JISG3508-2.2005 "Cold upsetting boron steel" (in English) and
JISG3509-2.2003 "cold upsetting low alloy steel" (in English).
According to this section JISG3508-2.2005 and JISG3509-2.2003 redrafted. For comparison, in the informative Appendix A
This section lists the terms and JISG3508-2.2005 and JISG3509-2.2003 technical differences between the terms of its causes list.
This Part and Part 2 together instead of GB/T 5953-1999 "cold heading wire."
Section compared with GB/T 5953-1999 The main changes are as follows.
--- Increased by fasteners and cold formed parts heat treatment classification;
--- Modify the delivery status;
--- Increased the order content;
--- Expanded from wire diameter range (1.00 ~ 16.0) mm to (1.00 ~ 45.0) mm;
--- Tightened the dimensional accuracy and flatness;
--- Improving the heavy plate;
--- Canceled tag example;
--- Canceled the chemical composition, smelting method, macrostructure and grain size requirements of the regulations;
--- Modify the mechanical properties;
--- Tightened the decarburized layer;
--- Increased "by carbon requirements";
--- Stretching number of samples from 5% disc revised to three.
Appendix A of this section is an informative annex.
