The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Anchor handling system
A system for other ships/platforms to perform anchoring and anchoring operations.
Note. The anchor handling system is composed of anchor handling winches, tail drums, shark clamps, bollards, chain guides, chain guide grooves, anchor chain transfer winches and other equipment. See the layout diagram

A winch that provides pulling force for other ships/platforms for anchoring and anchoring operations.
