1 Scope

This standard specifies the actual equivalent carbon number 42 (ECN42 HPLC) triglyceride content in oils and fats and the theoretical equivalent carbon number 42 (ECN42 theory) A method for determining the absolute difference in triester content. This standard applies to olive oil and is suitable for testing whether various types of olive oil are mixed with a small amount of seed oil (rich in linoleic acid). Note.
