This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required. This document replaces GB/T 34668-2023 "Safety requirements and test methods for electric balance vehicles". 1 Scope

This document specifies the safety requirements for electric balancing scooters and describes the corresponding test methods. This document applies to the design, production and sales of electric balancing vehicles that use batteries as power source.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Electric self-balancing vehicle A device based on the inverted pendulum model and the principle of static instability, equipped with a rechargeable electric drive system, which can be controlled in an autonomous or manual mode.
