Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 30366-2013 "Biomass Terminology". Compared with GB/T 30366-2013, except for structural adjustment and editorial
In addition to the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Changed the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2013 edition);
--- Deleted four terms such as "softening temperature of ash melting" and "initial deformation temperature of ash melting" (see the.2013 edition
2.1.18~2.1.20 and 2.1.26);
--- Added 9 terms such as "cork" and "cork" (see 3.2.14 to 3.2.22);
--- Added "biomass raw material analysis and physical and chemical properties testing" (see 3.3);
--- Added 8 terms such as "wet basis moisture content" and "dry basis moisture content" (see 3.3.5, 3.3.6, 3.3.16~3.3.21);
--- Added the term "air source heat pump drying" (see 3.4.19);
--- Added 28 terms such as "biomass materials" and "wood-plastic composite materials" (see 3.5.2 to 3.5.29).

Biomass Terminology
1 Scope
This document defines the terms for biomass in general, sources, raw material analysis and physicochemical property testing, conversion and processing, and utilization.
This document applies to technical activities such as production, circulation, and testing of biomass and its related products.
2 Normative references
This document has no normative references.
3 Terms and definitions
3.1 General terms
3.1.1
Biomass
Directly or indirectly formed by photosynthesis of green plants, including plants, animals and microorganisms, as well as the excretion and metabolism of these living organisms
The organic matter produced.
Note. Biomass is divided into agricultural biomass, forestry biomass, municipal solid waste, animal waste, etc.
3.1.2
Agricultural biomass
Biomass generated during agricultural production and processing and grown in the ocean.
Note. Agricultural biomass mainly includes agricultural products, agricultural residues (such as corn stalks, sorghum stalks, wheat straw, rice straw, bean straw, cotton stalks and rice husks, etc.), livestock and poultry manure, energy
Plants and aquatic plants such as algae and seaweed, etc.
3.1.3
forestry biomass
Biomass generated during forestry production and processing.
Note. Forestry biomass mainly includes forest products (such as wood, bamboo, rattan, etc.), forestry residues (such as branches, sawdust, wood chips, tips, board skin and cuttings, fruit shells, etc.),
and fruit cores, logging residues and processing residues, papermaking waste and waste wood), energy forests, grass plants in forests and grasslands, etc.
3.1.4
Municipal solid waste; MSW
Biomass solid waste generated by the daily life of urban residents.
3.1.5
primary biomass
Biomass produced directly from photosynthesis.
Note. Primary biomass includes wood, bamboo, rattan, crops, grass plants, or aquatic plants such as seaweed and seaweed obtained from forests.
3.1.6
Secondary biomass
By-products and residues generated during the processing of target products using primary biomass as raw materials.
Note. Secondary biomass includes sawdust, straw, pulping black liquor, livestock manure, etc.
