1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, specifications and marking, general provisions,
requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation and storage of
lightweight panels for partition wall used in buildings (hereinafter referred to as the
lightweight panels).
This document is applicable to the processes such as design, production, inspection and
application of non-load-bearing lightweight panels for partition wall used in industrial and
civil buildings.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.
3.1 Lightweight Panel
A prefabricated panel with a length of not less than 2.2 m, a length-to-width ratio of not less
than 2, made of lightweight materials or by means of lightweight construction, with a
surface density not greater than the value specified in this document, and manufactured by
mechanized production.
3.2 Hollow Panel
A lightweight panel with several through holes along the length of the board.
3.3 Solid Panel
A non-porous lightweight panel.
3.4 Composite Sandwich Panel
A prefabricated panel made of a composite of two or more materials with different
properties or a composite of a face panel and a sandwich material.
3.5 Lightweight Concrete Panel
A prefabricated concrete panel mixed with pumice, ceramsite, fly ash, coal gangue, slag,
recycled aggregates and other lightweight aggregates or admixtures, using cement as the
cementitious material, and steel bars, steel wire mesh, chopped fibers or other materials as
the reinforced materials; or a prefabricated concrete panel molded by foaming process.
3.6 Lightweight Cement Panel
A prefabricated panel for partition wall made with appropriate amounts of additives and
admixtures, using alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh, steel wire mesh or steel wire mesh frame,
and chopped fibers as the reinforced materials, cement as the cementitious material, or
magnesium cementitious material.
NOTE. Lightweight cement panels include glass fiber reinforced cement panels, foamed cement
panels, panels of cement polystyrene particle, etc.
3.7 Panel of Cement Polystyrene Particle
A cement panel made with appropriate amounts of additives and admixtures, using cement,
polystyrene particles, etc. as the main materials, and steel wire mesh or steel wire mesh
frame as the reinforced material.
3.8 Gypsum Hollow Panel
A hollow panel made with an appropriate amount of additives, using gypsum as the main
raw material, with cement content not exceeding 10%, and added with inorganic lightweight
aggregates, chopped fibers, alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh, steel wire mesh and other
reinforced materials.
3.9 Moisture-proof Gypsum Panel
A gypsum panel that has moisture-proof properties after moisture-proof treatment during the
molding process.
3.10 Lightweight Foamed Ceramic Panel
A lightweight ceramic panel foamed and fired at high temperature using one or more of clay,
quartz, ceramic fragments, tailings, red mud, fly ash, aeolian sand and other materials as the
main raw materials, with the aid of a foaming agent.
3.11 Foamed Ceramic Composite Panel
A lightweight composite panel made of foamed ceramic as the face material and other
functional materials as the core material.
3.12 Composite Panel of Cement Polystyrene Particle
A composite panel made of cement-based polystyrene particle composite material as the
core material and inorganic sheet material as the face panel.
3.13 Composite Panel of Aluminum Honeycomb
A lightweight composite panel made of single-layer or multi-layer aluminum honeycomb
core panel as the core material and inorganic sheet materials bonded on both sides as the
face panels.
3.14 Composite Panel of Paper Honeycomb
A lightweight composite panel laminated, pressurized, and bonded using paper honeycomb
core panel as the core material and inorganic sheet material as the face panel.
3.15 Multi-ribbed Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement Composite Panel
A ribbed composite thermoinsulating panel cast, extruded and molded with appropriate
amounts of fly ash, sawdust and additives, using rock wool strip as the core material and
fiber mesh as the reinforced material, and high-strength cement or magnesium cementitious
material.
3.16 Sintered Hollow Panel
A hollow panel with holes made by pre-extrusion molding, drying and calcination with
5 General Provisions
5.1 Raw Materials
5.1.1 Cement shall comply with the provisions of GB 175 and GB/T 20472.
5.1.2 Calcined gypsum shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 9776.
5.1.3 Magnesium cementitious materials shall comply with the provisions of JC/T 449.
5.1.4 Aggregates shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 14684, GB/T 14685 and GB/T
17431.1, and recycled aggregates shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 25176 and GB/T
25177.
5.1.5 The water for production mixing shall comply with the provisions of JGJ 63.
5.1.6 Reinforced materials shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 701, JC/T 841, YB/T
5294, etc.
5.1.7 External mixtures shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 1596, GB/T 18046, GB/T
20491, JGJ/T 318, etc.
5.1.8 Admixtures shall comply with the provisions of GB 8076, etc.
5.1.9 The aluminum honeycomb core shall be a continuous honeycomb, preferably a
hexagonal structure, with a side length of no more than 15 mm. The thickness of aluminum
foil for the aluminum honeycomb core with a side length of no more than 6 mm should not
be less than 0.04 mm. For a side length of 6 mm to 15 mm, the aluminum honeycomb core
shall use aluminum foil of series 3 or above. The density of core panel shall not be less than
1 kg/m2.The thickness of a single-layer honeycomb core panel should not be greater than 50
mm. When it is greater than 50 mm, a multi-layer structure shall be set.
5.1.10 The adhesive for aluminum honeycomb core material shall be weather-resistant and
tough, and shall not corrode aluminum. The limit of hazardous substances shall comply with
the provisions of GB 18583.
5.1.11 The core material of paper honeycomb sandwich panels shall be continuous
honeycomb core panels. The thickness of a single-layer honeycomb core panel should not be
greater than 50 mm. When it is greater than 50 mm, a multi-layer structure shall be set. The
amount of paper for core materials should not be less than 125 g/m2.The properties shall
comply with the provisions of GB/T 13024.
5.1.12 The starch adhesive should be used as the adhesive for paper honeycomb core
materials, and its properties shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 31818.The adhesive
shall be tough and shall not have any adverse effects on the paper for paper honeycomb core
materials. The limit of hazardous substances shall comply with the provisions of GB 18583.
5.1.13 The face panel of the composite sandwich panel shall comply with the following
provisions.
a) Fiber reinforced cement panels shall comply with the provisions of JC/T 412.1;
b) Fiber reinforced calcium silicate panels shall comply with the provisions of JC/T
564.1;
c) Gypsum plasterboards shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 9775;
d) The thickness of the foamed ceramic panel shall not be less than 25 mm;
e) The face panel of the composite sandwich panel shall be made of asbestos-free
sheet material with a combustion performance of Grade A.
5.1.14 The combustion performance of the core material of the composite sandwich panel
shall be Grade B1 or above.
5.1.15 The raw materials of sintered panels shall meet the requirements of brick making. The
used mining slag, solid waste from industrial and mining enterprises, etc. shall not contain
substances harmful to the human body and excessive radioactive elements.
5.1.16 When the sintered panels are formed by the manufacturing process of combining and
bonding sintered products, they shall be bonded and combined in the factory along the
length of the panels, and usually at least 2 pores of dowel and grouting or other equivalent
reinforcement measures shall be adopted. The panels should not be spliced in the width
direction. When the panels need to be spliced in the width direction, they shall be spliced
into a partition wall to avoid straight joints along the length direction to ensure the integrity
of the panels.
5.1.17 The rock wool material used as the core material of the multi-ribbed glass fiber
reinforced cement composite panels shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 11835.
5.2 Moisture Content
The territory of use corresponding to the different moisture content limit regulations of the
panels are shown in Table 2.
Carry out according to the provisions of GB/T 13475.The sample dimensions shall meet the
requirements of the testing equipment. The panel joints are treated with the same bonding
materials and processes as during construction, compacted and scraped.
7.4.9 Softening coefficient
Carry out according to the provisions of GB/T 30100.
7.4.10 Moisture content
Carry out according to the provisions of GB/T 30100.
7.4.11 Drying shrinkage value
Carry out according to the provisions of GB/T 30100.The sample of the composite
sandwich panel shall be a whole including the face panel and core material.
7.4.12 2-hour water absorption rate of moisture-proof gypsum panels
7.4.12.1 Preparation of test specimens. Take 3 pieces of wallboards, and cut a test specimen
along the length direction of the wallboards respectively at the middle position not less than
25 mm from the end of the wallboards, with a total of 3 pieces constituting a group of
samples. The width of the test specimen is 100 mm, the length is the same as the width
dimension of the wallboard (if the board width is ≤800 mm, the cutting length of the test
specimen is the board width; if the board width is >800 mm, the cutting length of the test
specimen is 600 mm), and the thickness is the same as the thickness of the wallboard. Place
the wallboard under normal temperature and humidity conditions for 3 d before testing.
7.4.12.2 Place the test specimen in an electric blast drying oven and dry it for 24 h at a
drying temperature of 50°C. Thereafter, weigh it every 2 h until the difference between the
two weighing values does not exceed 0.2% of the latter weighing value. After the test
specimen cools to room temperature, weigh its absolute dry mass m0 immediately to an
accuracy of 0.01 kg.
7.4.12.3 Place the test specimen in water above 10°C. The test specimen is suspended by a
bracket and is not close to the bottom and side walls of the pool. The upper surface of the
test specimen is not less than 30 mm from the water surface. After 2 h, the test specimen is
taken out and the water attached to the surface of the test specimen is absorbed with a towel.
Weigh the mass of the test specimen m1 to an accuracy of 0.01 kg.
7.4.12.4 The 2-hour moisture content of each test specimen is calculated according to
Formula (1) and rounded to 0.1%.

7.4.15.2 The test method shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 2542.
7.5 Radionuclide Limit

8 Inspection Rules
8.1 Inspection Classification
8.1.1 Exit-factory inspection
The products shall be subjected to exit-factory inspection before leaving the factory. The
exit-factory inspection items include appearance quality, dimensional deviation, compressive
strength, flexural load, and moisture content. The moisture-proof gypsum panels shall also
be tested for 2-hour water absorption rate and softening coefficient. The products can only
leave the factory after passing the inspection.
8.1.2 Type inspection
8.1.2.1 Type inspection conditions
The type inspection shall be carried out under any of the following circumstances.
a) When a trial-produced new product is put into production for appraisal;
b) When the material, formula, or process of the product has been significantly
changed, which may affect the product performance;
c) For products produced in continuous standardization, the airborne sound weighted
sound insulation and fire resistance limit are tested once every three years, and
other items specified in Chapter 6 are tested once a year;
d) When the product is put back into production after being discontinued for more
than half a year;
e) When the exit-factory inspection result is significantly different from the last type
inspection result.
8.1.2.2 Type inspection items of the product
The type inspection items of the product are all items specified in 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, and 6.4.
8.2 Sampling Methods for Exit-factory Inspection and Type Inspection
requirements of 4.4, and the manufacturer name and production date shall be marked.
9.1.2 The products leaving the factory shall have a quality certificate and product manual.
9.1.3 The certificate of conformity shall contain the following contents.
a) Product name, product standard number, trademark;
b) Manufacturer name and detailed address;
c) Product specifications, models, and main technical parameters;
d) The product inspection report shall contain the code of the inspector and the seal of
the inspection department.
9.1.4 The product manual shall contain the following contents.
a) Precautions for product transportation and stacking;
b) Requirements for wallboard auxiliary materials and installation process
description;
c) Precautions for wall grooving and hole opening;
d) Precautions for laying anti-cracking mesh and wall finishing construction;
e) Precautions for later use and maintenance.
9.2 Transportation
The panels can be transported by carts for short distances and should be carried sideways;
for long distances, they can be transported by trucks, ships or other freight methods. For
long-distance transportation, the panels shall be bundled and gently lifted and dropped.
During transportation, the panels shall be tightened with ropes, supported reasonably,
prevented from impact, damage and deformation, and covered with tarpaulin if necessary to
prevent rain.
9.3 Storage
9.3.1 Conditions
The panel products are stored under normal temperature and humidity conditions, and the
environment shall be kept dry and ventilated. The storage site shall be solid and flat, and
easy to carry. The panels can be stored in a warehouse, but not in the open air. Effective
measures shall be taken for open air storage to prevent corrosion media and rain damage.
If the sintered panel products are stored for more than half a year, the panel surface direction
and side position shall be changed.
