This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 18828-2013 "Diving Watch". Compared with GB/T 18828-2013, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes
In addition, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Changed the "Scope" and included the "Naming" chapter of the.2013 edition after revision (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 and Chapter 1 of the.2013 edition
Chapter 4);
b) Changed "Terms and Definitions" (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2013 edition);
c) The "Requirements" and "Test Methods" chapters of the.2013 edition are merged into the same chapter "Requirements and Test Methods", and the "Practice
"International significance" chapter was revised and included (see Chapter 4, Chapter 5, Chapter 6 and Chapter 7 of the.2013 edition);
d) Added "overview" in "requirements and test methods", including "temperature", "visual inspection", "tested product configuration", "practical significance", "potential

1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements and test methods for diving watches and saturation diving watches for deep water diving.
This document applies to dives capable of withstanding a depth of at least 100m and equipped with a protective measuring system to indicate visibility in darkness
