1 Scope
This standard specifies the detailed rules for the compilation of 16 parts of the
SDS, the format of the SDS, the writing requirements of the SDS, the
requirements for measurement units.
This standard applies to the compilation of SDS.

The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For
the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable
to this document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including
all the amendments) are applicable to this standard.

3 Key points of writing
3.1 Identification of chemical and corporate

4 Format
4.1 Format size
The format of SDS is generally A4 (it can also be other format sizes deemed
suitable by the supplier), which is arranged vertically.
