GB/T 12184 has issued the following part. --- Part 1.Printing Specifications for E13B; --- Part 2.Printing specifications for CMC7. This document replaces GB/T 12184-2007 "Information Processing Magnetic Ink Character Recognition Printing Specification". and GB/T 12184-2007 In contrast, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows. a) Changed the standard name; b) change "error" to "tolerance" (see Chapter 1, Chapter 15 of the.2007 edition); c) Changed the expression of combination C26 (see 4.1, 16.1 of the.2007 edition); d) change the term "stroke" to "stroke" (see Chapter 10, Chapter 22 of the.2007 edition); e) Added the use of CMC7 characters (see Appendix A). 1 Scope

This document specifies the shape, size and tolerance of 10 numbers (0~9), 5 symbols and 26 letters printed with magnetic ink, description Various printing defects and other printing precautions are described, tolerances are specified, and the measurement of signal levels is explained. The characters specified in this document are mainly applicable to the automatic data processing of bank bills, and other automatic information processing systems can be used for reference.
