1 Scope
This standard specifies the use of formic acid/zinc chloride determination to go after unless fibrous material with wool or silk/cashmere and mixtures containing fibers

With formic acid/zinc chloride solution from a mixture of silk known dry mass of dissolved and removed, the residue was collected, washed, dried and weighed;
Calculate its share of the dry mass of the mixture with a mass fraction of mass corrected, then the difference obtained by the mass fraction of silk.
4 Reagents
Use GB/T 2910.1 standard 4.1, 4.2 and the provisions of this reagent.
4.1 acid/zinc chloride solution. 20g of anhydrous zinc chloride (content > 98%) and 68g of anhydrous formic acid with water to 100g.
Note. This reagent is harmful to the use of protective measures should be taken.
4.2 Dilute aqueous ammonia solution. Take 20 mL ammonia (density 0.880g/mL), diluted with water to 1L.
