This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaces GB/T 5567-2006 “Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies - Determination of suction resistance”. Compared with the GB/T 5567-2006, the technical changes are as follows. - Modify the standard name; - Add a reference standard (see Chapter 2); - Add principle (see Chapter 3); - Add test device (see Chapter 4); - Add test pressure (see Chapter 7); - Add test procedure (Method C) (see Chapter 10). This Standard uses translation and equivalently adopts ISO 7233.2006. The Chinese standard that has consistency corresponding relation with the normative international document quoted in this Standard is as follows. - GB/T 2941-2006 Rubber - General procedures for preparing and conditioning test pieces for physical test methods (ISO 23529.2004, IDT). This Standard was proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Rubber Product Standardization Technical Committee - Rubber Hose Sub-technical Committee (SAC/TC 35/SC 1). Responsible drafting organizations of this Standard. Ningbo Fengmao Rubber Co., Ltd., Nanjing Car Group 7425 Factory, Hengshui Quality & Technical Supervision & Inspection Institute AND Shenyang Rubber Research and Design Institute. The main drafters of this Standard. Peng Chengqiang, Sun Kejian, Li Jinsheng, Cao Youhua and Zhang Yanfen. The previous standards replaced by this Standard are as follows. - GB/T 5567-1985, GB/T 5567-1994, GB/T 5567-2006. Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies - Determination of resistance to vacuum WARNING – The personnel who use this Standard shall have the practical working experience in a regular laboratory. This Standard does not indicate all possible safety issues. Users have the responsibility to take appropriate safety and health measures, and to ensure that the conditions comply with relevant national regulations.1 Scope
This Standard specifies three methods for determining the resistance to vacuum of hoses and hose assemblies manufactured from plastic or rubber. Applicable dimensions of hoses for each method are as follows. ۛ method A — for hoses of nominal bore up to and including 80 mm; ۛ method B — for hoses of nominal bore greater than 80 mm; ۛ method C — for hoses of all dimensions. Methods A and B can also be used to check the adhesion of the lining to the reinforcement (delamination) in a length of hard-wall hose or hose assembly.2 Normative references
