This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaces GB/T 2981-2001 Technical specification of pneumatic tyres for industrial vehicles. Compared with GB/T 2981-2001, the main technical differences are as follows. - adjusted the indicators of physical and mechanical properties of tyre; deleted the physical and mechanical properties of pad (3.2 of Edition 2001, 3.2 of this Edition); - added the requirements for pad (4.5 of this Edition); - added the requirements for defects that a variety of tires do not allow to have serious impact on the service life (4.4 of this Edition); - deleted the inspection rules (Clause 5 of Edition 2001); - added the determination method for outer edge size after tyre inflating (5.1 of this Edition); - improved the content of marks; deleted marking requirements for pad; “place name” was modified to “place of origin” (4.6 of this Edition). This Standard was proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
