1 Scope

3 Terms and units of measurement

3.1 Retroreflection
The reflected light returns from the direction close to the incident light and returns toward the light source (see Figure 1).

3.2 Reference Center
When determining the characteristics of retroreflective materials, a point given at or near the center of the sample.

3.3 reference axis
It starts at the reference center and is perpendicular to the reflection line of the tested sample.
