Introduction
JJF 1071 "Rules for the Preparation of National Metrology and Calibration Specifications", JJF 1001 "General Metrology Terms and Definitions",
JJF 1059.1 "Evaluation and Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement" together constitute the basic series supporting the revision of this specification
document.
This specification refers to GB/T 40219-2021 "General Specification for Raman Spectrometers" ASTM-E1683-2002
(Reapproved.2007) Standard practice for performance testing of scanning Raman spectrometers
Compared with JJF 1544-2015, this specification has the following major technical changes, in addition to editorial revisions.
--- Added the introduction;
--- Expanded the scope of application of the specification, adding portable Raman spectrometers and handheld Raman spectrometers;
--- Added metrological characteristics requirements for portable Raman spectrometers and handheld Raman spectrometers;
--- Delete the "relative intensity indication error" calibration item and add the "intensity repeatability" calibration item;
--- Added "lateral resolution", "vertical resolution" and "lateral distance error" for microscopic imaging Raman spectrometer
"Difference" and "longitudinal distance error" and other calibration items and calibration methods;
--- The terminology and measurement standards have been modified according to the modifications to the calibration items and calibration methods;
--- Modified the environmental conditions and relaxed the temperature and humidity requirements;
--- Delete the recommended recalibration time interval in Chapter 9 "Recalibration time interval";
--- According to the above changes to the calibration items and calibration methods, the original record format in the appendix and the certificate page format
The formula and uncertainty evaluation have been revised (see Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D, Appendix E, Appendix F
and Appendix G).
The previous versions of this specification are as follows.

Raman spectrometer calibration specifications
1 Scope
This specification applies to laser confocal microscopic imaging Raman spectrometers (referred to as microscopic imaging Raman spectrometers),
Calibration of portable Raman spectrometers and handheld Raman spectrometers. Calibration of other types of Raman spectrometers can refer to this specification
implement.
2 References
This specification references the following documents.

For any referenced document with a date, only the version with the date is applicable to this specification; for any referenced document without a date,
The latest version (including all amendments) shall apply to this specification.
3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 40219-2021 and the following apply to this specification.
3.1 Raman scattering
The interaction between monochromatic incident light and the medium produces scattered light with a frequency different from the original incident light, and the relative frequency shift
It is called the phenomenon of distribution on both sides of the incident light frequency.
[Source. GB/T 40219-2021, 3.1]
3.2 Raman shift
The difference between the absolute wave number of the incident light and the absolute wave number of the scattered light is referred to as "frequency shift" and its unit is cm-1.
[Source. GB/T 40219-2021, 3.2, modified]
3.3 Absolute wave number absolutewavenumber
The reciprocal of the wavelength, that is, the number of wavelengths contained in one centimeter, the unit is cm-1.
3.4 Relative wave number relativewavenumber
The absolute wavenumber of the excitation light minus the absolute wavenumber of the Raman scattered light, in cm-1.
3.5 Peak position
The center position of the Raman scattering spectrum peak is often expressed in relative wavenumbers, with the unit being cm-1.
The signal intensity of a Raman peak measured by the Raman spectrometer is the signal intensity from the highest point of the peak to the background corresponding to that point.
The count difference from the baseline.
