1 Scope

This Part of GB/T 6185 specifies type sizes, technical conditions and marks of prevailing torque type all-metal hexagon nuts, style 2. This Standard is applicable to prevailing torque type all-metal hexagon nuts, style 2 of which thread sizes are M5 ~ M36, performance grades are 5, 8, 10 and 12, the product grades are A and B. Grade A is used for nuts of which D ≤ 16 mm; Grade B is used for nuts of which D > 16 mm. NOTE In addition to mw and hmax, this nut equals to GB/T 6175 nut.
